Licensed Radiation Therapist

Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for a Licensed Radiation Therapist to join an established and fast growing radiation oncology practice in SW Florida. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Radiation Therapist administers radiation treatment as prescribed by a physician in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. TrueBeam experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

Reviews patient history, physicians orders and radiation therapy treatment plan. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation. Delivers therapy according to the treatment plan and the physicians prescription. Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Requirements:

Florida certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited radiation therapy school or college. ARRT and ASRT registered and certified. State of Florida license required. CPR certification required. Experience with Varian machines including TrueBeam as well as GE Light speed CT scanner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
