The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Quilting Educator who can present and teach about quilting projects and skills and our products. This role will educate through videos, digital events and classes so they must be comfortable and confident on-screen (as part of the interview process you will be asked to do a screen test if you make it to the in-person interviews). When not teaching for our digital content, this role will also function as a Curriculum Developer. They will help build out schedules, scripts and outlines for our educational content in order to make sure our educational content is intentional and cohesive. This role will be instrumental in helping us develop educational learning objectives and lesson planning. This role will be part of our Marketing Team and report to the Events and Visual Content Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work with Marketing Leadership to create quilting education curriculum outlines.
- Assist in strategizing when and how educational content should be presented.
- Write outlines and scripts for filming educational content.
- Present and teach educational quilting concepts through digital classes, courses, videos and events.
- Create quilts and quilted projects for on-screen presentation.
- Work closely with the production team and digital marketing teams to ensure that our educational content is consistent and achieves our education goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in quilting.
- Strong communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
- Confidence and comfortability in front of a camera/on-screen.
- Strong organizational and strategizing skills.
- Strong writing skills to create outlines, timelines and scripts and educational content.
- Collaboration and humility is a must, this is very much a team-centered environment.
- Flexibility is key, this is a new role being created and it may shift some after hiring.

- Starting Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience and skills
