$21.09/hr. to $38.18/hr. ($.40 to $1.53/hr. shift allowance)

The Job You Will Perform:
- While on Fluff**
- Quality testing and data entry: Mullen; brightness; daily brightness std. check; viscosity testing (1x per shift on fluff); retain samples; manual basis weight (when on bales); manual moisture (when on bales); residual chloride testing (while on TCF); manual dirt/shive counts (as needed); and dirt contamination identification (as needed)
- Quality instrument calibrations/ verifications: Labor instrument calibrations (bleach and dry lab); daily single point scanner cross checks – basis weight, moisture, caliper; metal detector validation (daily); kappa analysis (Kappa Q/I cross checks)
- Quality process audit: Role line quality checks; bale line quality checks; ISRA system audits (daily system health checks; reclassification of false defects in ISRA (as needed)
- Retain room management (as needed)
- While on Specialty**
- Quality testing and data entry: Viscosity testing (final product); viscosity testing (process)
- Quality instrument calibrations/verifications: Lab instrument calibrations (bleach and dry lab)
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Must be currently 18 years of age or older
- Eligible for employment in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to function in a team environment.
- Practical understanding of metrics and problem solving.
- Practical understanding of basic math and algebra. In addition to pre-employment testing, a proficiency test will be conducted as part of the selection process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in quality and/or testing
