Sr. Quality Assurance Tester, Manual & Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Tester to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of both manual and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases, as well as automating tests where applicable.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results.
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Automation Testing:
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source or commercial tools.
  • Enhance and maintain the automated testing framework.
  • Integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting:
  • Document and track bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports on test findings and recommendations.
• Quality Assurance Best Practices:
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior QA testers in testing methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience in developing automated test scripts and testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, QTP, Cucumber).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Additional knowledge and skills:

• Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and SQL.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
