POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Technician will primarily have responsibility for Inspections, Operation Quality Assessments (OQA), assisting the Project Turnover Manager (PTM) and assist with the collection and organization of Quality Documentation pertaining to construction operations such as Civil, Concrete, Posts, Racking, Module Panels, Electrical, Subcontractors, etc. A QA must maintain effective communications and relations (verbally and in writing) with supervisor, coworkers, and the project management team. The QA is expected to not only provide services in the areas listed above, but to identify and communicate areas of concern when encountered also proactively.

This district is located in Northern California, with District Office in Fairfield
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become Trained and Qualified in Essential Functions and Other Requirements.
- Perform inspections, tests, OQA’s as required by Code, Contract, and the Project Quality Plan.
- Participate in Quality Tours, Block/Circuit walk downs, and Quality/Turnover meetings as required.
- Document Nonconforming work and Conditions when they occur.
- Complete Quality Turnover Documentation and test records in the InEight Completions application as required by Code, Contract, and the Project Quality Plan.
- Support the Project Turnover Manager and associated Turnover functions such as logging and updating worklist / punchlist items in the InEight Issues application.
- Be knowledgeable and conform to Kiewit’s Standard Operating Procedures including Safety, Quality, Environmental and Equal Employment Opportunity protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS
- The QA must have a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus be able to demonstrate capabilities, traits and experience in the construction field.
- The QA must be able to interpret drawings and specifications.
- The QA must be able to navigate and operate in web-based applications.
- The QA must be organized, work productively, and meet deadlines.
- The QA must develop a thorough understanding of the project-specific Quality Program including the project scope and construction schedule as they relate to the specific assignment.
- Regular, reliable attendance

- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
