Summary:

This is an entry level Quality Technician position which works under the direction of the department Quality Engineer. The primary responsibilities include managing the Return Material Authorization process which includes data entry & navigation through Oracle transactions, monitoring & receiving customer returned material, coordinate the movement of the returned product to Engineering for review, initiate the teardown process of recovered parts & components for compliance to operational standards & requirements. This position works collaboratively with the Customer Service, Receiving, Material Handling, & Engineering departments. Successful candidates would have knowledge of the Return Material Authorization process, previous experience with Receiving & the material movement transactions in Oracle. Other duties to the Quality Management System would include, but not limited to copying, scanning, storing & archiving department files & reviewing technical documents with the ability to identify errors.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience: one-year minimum on-the-job experience with Oracle, preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform RMA & part movement transactions within the Oracle System
• Maintain physical returns inventory accuracy & status logs
• Coordinate with multiple departments to disposition customer returns
• Review technical documents (form, manual, work instructions) & check for accuracy
• Maintain Quality inspection form, checklists & certification records
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive materials
• Identify Returned PSG-CA Product Models
• Visually Inspect Returned PSG-CA Product for Damage
• Maintain stellar attendance and ability to work overtime when required.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and follow all company policies.
• Performs all other duties assigned by Supervision.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient editing and data organization skills
• Attention to detail
• Familiar with working in an ISO 9001 environment
• Ability to use Pallet Jack

Work Environment:

The environment is both office and manufacturing. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
