Our Somersworth, NH location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us?

1. Organize the activities of the day/week according to the internal or external customer demand or even established by the assigned Lead of the lab.
2. Perform the activity following specific SOP's, specifications, customer requirements or Inspection Instructions. Depending on the risk associated in case of non-OK result, escalation should be done immediately through using effective communication and documentation, according to the SOP associated. Develop inspection reports for measurements performed.
3. In the event of damage, malfunction, lost or needing replacement of any instrument with or equipment, it must be reported and removed from use (as applicable).
4. Perform MSA Studies as planned by the Quality Engineer or by the assigned Lead of the Lab, addressing the results to them, as well as reporting suggestions for improvements.
5. Maintain organized/detailed records, benches and instruments during the activities being performed. Update work instructions or inspection instructions as required.
6. Identify improvement opportunities for products and processes (not limited to the Quality Dept.) suggesting Preventative Action Reports (PARs) or Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
7. Support Customer, Internal, and External IATF 16949 audit program(s) as required.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Recommended previous experience of 2+ years in quality/metrology manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Basic math skills required. Basic Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Knowledge of tools of metrology required ( vernier calipers, go/no gauges, templates, 3D Scan, Microscope, etc.). CMM Software experience preferred. SAP experience preferred.  Recommended knowledge with ISO 17025. Ability to identify trends preferred.
• Other Skills / Abilities: Must be able to work in a demanding customer focused environment and prioritize responsibilities to meet customer and organizational requirements. Solid verbal and written English communication skills are required and ability to deal with all levels of the organization. Must be able to work independently and be able to prioritize. Attention on details, good communication and discipline are strongly recommended.
