Monday - Friday, Business Hours
Pay: $18
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing QC sample testing for incoming materials, including density testing, disintegration testing, and other physical testing or properties analysis. Approximately 50% of the role will involve physical tasks such as receiving products, moving them around, and utilizing a forklift. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a quality-focused role within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with QC testing is a significant plus.
- Forklift certification is preferred, or willingness to become certified within 6 months with provided training.
- Ability to adapt and learn new processes and procedures quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Physical fitness and capability to engage in the physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform QC sample testing for incoming materials, including bulk density, disintegration, and other physical tests as needed.
- Compare incoming samples with current samples to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Conduct temperature checks to monitor environmental conditions.
- Utilize a forklift daily to move samples within the warehouse.
- Maintain a controlled environment within the warehouse.
- Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity within the scope of responsibilities.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, especially when operating the forklift.
