Currently, we are looking for a Quality Technician responsible for inspection and auditing within all areas of the manufacturing facility and assuring quality standards are being maintained. This job is located in Guilford, CT.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
- Perform quality inspections on production floor as needed, including receiving inspections, in-process inspections and final inspections.
- Part of internal audit team, performing internal audits as assigned
- Initiate/participate in facility continuous improvement efforts
- Other duties as needed and assigned by management

III. QUALIFICATIONS
- H.S. Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (but not required)
- Experience in quality is preferred (but not required)
- Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications/requirements
- Ability to clearly communicate those specifications/requirements to others
- Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination.
- Ability to work independently
- Computer literate (email, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift 20lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $19.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience
