The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products”
Responsibilities
- Performs routine Incoming and In-process dimensional and visual inspections based on established quality specifications.
- Inspects product samples to evaluate the quality of the full product batch prior to release to finished goods inventory
- Initiate Non-Conforming Material reports as required
- Identify and ensure the movement of non-conforming materials to designated quarantine areas
- Input accurate and timely data into quality reporting systems.
- Ensure inspections are timely, effective, and routinely maintained.
- Trains the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence as needed.
- Perform product and manufacturing process audits on the shop floor.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding quality issues found.
- Performs required SAP Transactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
Required Skills/Abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
