Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an FSQA Technician. The FSQA Technician will be responsible for conducting daily food safety and Quality Assurance procedures, monitoring and analyzing sensory and analytical data, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions. The FSQA Technician will also be responsible for performing internal audits, maintaining SQF documentation, and conducting employee trainings.
Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or equal years related field experience
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food Program (SQF)
- Experience with microbiological and chemical analyses, sensory evaluations, and statistical process control
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities and procedures
- Experience in the dairy or food industry is a plus
