As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we are looking for an experienced QUALITY SUPERVISOR for 3rd Shift.
Our 3rd Shift schedule is Monday night - Thursday night 6:45pm - 6:15am, with daily and weekend overtime as required.
Duties:
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Proficient in use of EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint to create instructions, quality alerts, visual aids and presentations.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints/manufacturing drawings.
- Understand basic problem-solving tools and use them daily.
- Supervise and direct auditors and quality technicians including timecard approvals.
- Facilitate and participate in the implementation of quality and production system changes.
- Reflect process changes in our Quality Management System.
- Escalate supplier quality issues with the customer.
- Perform layered audits.
- Execute or facilitate team training and development of hourly quality personnel.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Enforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions.
- Able to spend hours on manufacturing floor reviewing work cells.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
