Quality Supervisor - 1St Shift

We're seeking a 1st ShiftQuality Supervisor at our facility providing inbound to manufacturing and automotive assembly services. The Quality Supervisor will help direct, coach and organize employees to achieve production goals through effective process monitoring, adjustments and issue resolution.
Standard work schedule is Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet customer demand.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES - Quality Supervisor

• Monitor internal WIP (Work in process) and inventory of sequenced material.
• Lead site staff to achieve desired results with high quality.
• Develop and lead a strong quality team.
• Maintain quality results by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Provide production metrics by analyzing performance records data, answering questions and responding to request.
• Advocate use of 6S to maintain safe, clean and efficient work environment.
• Identify and resolve quality issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.
• Monitor rework, replacement logs and applicable documentation.
• Foster cooperation within and between departments.
• Complete production plan by monitoring OEM (original manufacturer equipment) bank, queue and trigger by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems, and accurately reporting results of the process on production summaries.
• Maintain throughput by monitoring steps of the process, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, facilitating root cause analysis activities to failures within the process and report findings.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS - Quality Supervisor

• Good verbal and written communication skills, instructional and leadership skills
• General computer skills and a strong ability to navigate inventory systems
• Proactive and can-do attitude
• Ability to use problem solving skills to correct issues
• Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production process flow
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Supervisory experience
