Form of workThe Quality Specialist provides support for Corrosion Control Quality through the active promotion and implementation of the Quality Management System for Coating Application. This position requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and work on projects in a team environment. The position reports to the Manager of Coating Quality
- Manage division quality systems from a corporate level
- 3 to 5 years of quality experience
- Supports quality assurance with data entry and periodic analysis of metrics, Power BI and corrective/preventive action system
- 25 % travel to North American Coating and Liner Facilities
- Perform quality management system internal audits of plant facilities
- Technical writing and development of controlled procedures, to include: audit reports, process control plans, standard operating procedures and presentation development as necessary
- Support Plant Manufacturing QC by generating batch certificates and maintaining QC manual
- Responsible for sample processing activities including testing, evaluation, reporting, pipe cutting and equipment handling
- Execute technical training and quality control activities and strategies
- Other technical assignments as determined necessary by the Manager of Coating Quality
- Strong written, oral and presentation communication
- ISO 9001:2015 QMS experience is preferred
