Quality Manager

FlexHireGroup is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join the team in Bowling Green, KY.

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through effective leadership and management of the quality function at our division's plant level. Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, this role will establish, maintain, and optimize a robust quality management system, implementing the division's quality plan to achieve overall quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the implementation of the quality management system to meet customer and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits.
• Manage corrective action processes for nonconforming conditions and complaints.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations to support product supply and new product launches.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations and product quality.
• Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality performance.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead a team of Quality employees, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated Quality Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement tools and techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Smartsheets is preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and warehouse operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
