WACO is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Inspectorto join our growing team. As a Quality Inspectorat WACO, you will be responsible for verifying conformity of raw materials, parts, and finished products to specifications.

What you will do

• Measure and inspect items using manual gages such as calipers and micrometers and visual inspection techniques.
• Read engineering drawings to identify dimensions and tolerances and determine appropriate gages for measurement.
• Review and verify certifications for raw materials.
• Review work order documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Document and contain non-conforming materials.

What we are looking for:

• Must be able to learn and retain information quickly with On-the-Job-Training.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Personable, professional, and detail oriented.
• Previous inspection experience using manual gages such as micrometers and calipers.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Computer literate and good math skills.
• Physical demands include lifting to 50 pounds and walking/standing for extended periods of time.
• Experience with piloting or maintenance of General Aviation aircraft a plus.
