HID's Quality Assurance Team:
HID Quality is a fun and dynamic team with the purpose of executing organizational strategies to continuously improve the quality and efficiency standards for the areas we call home - yes home. Quality is the beginning of the product journey and what the Quality Team accomplishes sets the stage for all our business areas.
As our Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll support HID's success by:

• Performs ISO testing of HID access control products, assemblies, subassemblies, components, parts and cards including functional, operational and destructive tests.
• Performs ISO testing of HID access control products/readers including functional, operational and destructive tests.
• Reviews drawings and specifications for HID access control products, assemblies, subassemblies, components, parts and cards, such that incoming inspection can be performed against those specifications.
• Conducting internal audits to ensure that all assembly, inspection, and testing steps were performed according to specifications.
• Working closely with cross functional teams such as customer service, engineering, and operations.

What we will love about your background:

• Hands-on knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma philosophies
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle
• Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in access control products

Your Experience and Education include:

• A high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, including some experience in inspection.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and procedures in English
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
