Job Summary:

The Industrial Power Systems Division has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector I position in Seguin, TX. As a Quality Inspector I, you will report to a Quality Supervisor and will be assigned to the internal Quality department to meet customer and company demands.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure that parts and materials used in the assembly process are free from quality defects

• Assist other departments with problem solving or improvement ideas related to assembly

• Verifying correct alignment of engine components using engine schematics and part prints

• Inspect parts and materials to ensure they are free from quality defects

• Perform internal audits and carry out quality inspections to correct known defects

• Perform control plan audits, leak tests, and visual inspection on all engines

• Ensure that materials received and delivered are free from quality defects

• Submit and assist with the resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards

• Follow standard operating procedures and area specific work instructions

• Provide information to supervisors and managers about processes within assigned area

• All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to work well with others

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Understanding of Plex rejection systems and coding

• Ability to operate minimum 30% of quality gates for the facility

• Extensive engine function knowledge

• Completion of CAV/Manufacturing best practice training

• Shop floor Plex knowledge

• No attendance, quality, or performance infractions in prior rolling 12-month period

• Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
