PrimaryDuties:
- Keep an ongoing Teams roster of valves being QC’d in his department, with who repaired them, and any issues/ or corrections needed.
- Drive process improvements, knowledge sharing, and the implementation of best practices in the SRV Dept.
- Accountable for the quality of valves that are being QC’d in his designated area of the SRV Dept.
- Assist in the calibrations of gauges and measuring equipment for the location.
- Daily communications with the Safety Valve Department Supervisor regarding the daily Production level & Customer's Scope of Work.
- Be responsible for the Quality Checks & Final Inspections for all valves in his area of the SRV Dept. Every valve must be signed off by a QC Inspectors.
- Assist the department with anything they may need for working on valve repairs, and to assist with & improve workflow.
- Randomly making sure that every Job Bin is correctly labeled with Customers name, Job Number, PSV Number, and Due Dates on them.
- Assist the Safety Valve Supervisor in making sure every flagged Safety Valve is matchmarked with the National Board required Unique ID #.
- Making sure every valve that comes through his department is QC’d, along with making sure that the Customers Scope of Work has been followed.
- Assisting the SRV Lead in making sure that all shop operations, quality processes, safety procedures, and work procedures are being followed.
- Assist in reducing defects ( Non-Conformance Reporting) in the SRV Dept.
- Ensuring that all Quality Procedures are followed, and Repair Reports, along with Customer Forms are filled out correctly & completely.
- Assist the SRV Lead & Shop Manager to enforce Standardization procedures.
- Assist those in the SRV dept. with any needed guidance, training, or knowledge needed to successfully repair & test any valve that may come through the SRV dept.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with SRV Supervisor and Technicians.
