Description:
Seeking FPI II for 1st or 2nd shift Job Duties: Use test panels to check testing material (penetrant) per customer specifications.Inspect parts using black light and note any defects.Clean and dry parts per specifications if required.Utilize process travelers and instructions to prepare part for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) as non-destructive means of locating and determining the severity of surface discontinuities in aircraft parts.Perform testing operations following specified procedures outlined in manuals, identifying and marking discontinuities.Support divisional and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.Move parts or arrange for transport to next locationDaily-check gauges & instruments used in the inspection processRecord information on applicable paperworkMaintain good housekeeping practices and safety regulations in work area
