Danfoss in Easley, SC is searching for a Quality Engineer Co-op for the Summer & Fall 2024 terms. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Assist with the management of the PPAP process, including but not limited to tracking progress, verifying requirements, and updating status.
- Working in tandem with the Customer Quality Engineer to improve the PPAP management process and increasing overall efficiency and visibility.
- Assist with analyzing customer rejections and investigating process compliance.
- Support Supplier Quality Engineer with analyzing supplier related failures and sorting product for compliance to drawing.
- Other duties as seen fit to help support the Quality Group.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during the Summer & Fall 2024
- Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the Easley work site
- Able to interact with all levels of organization (Shop floor to Management).
- Familiar with basic hand tools.
- Familiar with reading/understanding design drawings, as well as GDT tolerancing.
- Hydraulics, Metrology, and/or Quality experience preferred.
