Job Description- Functional reporting to the VP – Engineering and Technical
- Technical support, qualification, and further development of international suppliers with a focus on the metal processing industry
- Travel will be required to perform onsite audits and inspections
- Audit of existing suppliers and make decisions about their quality capability
- Be responsible for quality assurance processes of incoming goods
- Develop a receiving protocol for all HUBs and Regions
- Train regional staff on inspection and evaluation of new material and material returned from job sites
- Deal with local, regional, and central suppliers about non-conformities
- Elaborate test schedules for incoming goods and required inspection equipment
- Develop a robust supplier continuous improvement process
- Lead annual improvement initiatives with all suppliers
- Lead a team of Quality personnel responsible for factory production and certifications
- Be part of an international network of Quality Engineers
- Act as an interface between the HQ and the regions
- Lead ISO 9001
- Implement global quality standards and processes
- Contact person for all quality assurance related questions for the global business
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, ideally with a focus on metal processing (technologies, welding, machines, factories, processes, tools).
- Approx. 3-5 years of work experience in industrial metal processing, ideally in quality control.
- Excellent knowledge in welding – Steel and Aluminum
- Understanding of Lean processes
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience in working as part of a dynamic global team
- Proactivity and self-motivation

- Ability to negotiate and convince people
- Able to travel and work extended hours, if required
