The position is based in Tampa, FL.
In this role you will:
- Perform functional, automated, and regression testing from low level test environments through release to Production, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Authoring detailed test cases that provide high coverage and enforce traceability back to the user story.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects, then verify fixes within JIRA. Ensure all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed.
- Recommend improvements to existing standards and procedures.
- Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework that supports Web, API, and Mobile product testing.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
- Ability to solve problems more efficiently.
- Ability to do PR reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Self-motivator to bring up the QE process to the next level with limited guidance.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of Quality/Automation Engineering experience.
- Hands on experience in UI automation and API automation.
- NodeJS, Typescript or similar scripting programming knowledge.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent bug tracking software.
- Experience with Confluence or similar document management system.
- Experience working with source control (such as GIT) and build management systems (such as Jenkins)
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to be challenged and learn new skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Preferred: Experience in Performance testing using JMeter will be an added advantage.
- Preferred: Retail Industry experience.
