Job Description
Summary: Seeking Quality Engineers to perform First Article Inspections, write new quality processes, and inspect aerospace parts for a high-volume project.
Requirements:
Experience in First Article Inspections AS9100 / AS9102
Proficiency in inspection of blades/blisk parts
Capability to write new quality processes for product introduction
Must have inspected machined parts, specifically blisks/impellers for gas turbine engines
Knowledgeable in inspecting metals including titanium and some aluminum
Background in the aerospace industry is required
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with aerospace companies like Rolls Royce, Pratt, GKN, Heico, Chromalloy
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of newly introduced blades from another plant
Develop and implement new quality processes to enhance product standards
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations during the inspection of machined parts
Additional Information:
Duration: 9 months+
Start Date: ASAP
Work Week: Monday-Friday, Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
ITAR Work Regulations compliance required
Open to US Citizens and Green Card holders; will consider other visa statuses on a selective basis
Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
