Quality Engineer

Summary: Seeking Quality Engineers to perform First Article Inspections, write new quality processes, and inspect aerospace parts for a high-volume project.

Requirements:

• Experience in First Article Inspections AS9100 / AS9102

• Proficiency in inspection of blades/blisk parts

• Capability to write new quality processes for product introduction

• Must have inspected machined parts, specifically blisks/impellers for gas turbine engines

• Knowledgeable in inspecting metals including titanium and some aluminum

• Background in the aerospace industry is required

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with aerospace companies like Rolls Royce, Pratt, GKN, Heico, Chromalloy

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of newly introduced blades from another plant

• Develop and implement new quality processes to enhance product standards

• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations during the inspection of machined parts

Additional Information:

• Duration: 9 months+

• Start Date: ASAP

• Work Week: Monday-Friday, Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

• ITAR Work Regulations compliance required

• Open to US Citizens and Green Card holders; will consider other visa statuses on a selective basis

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
