Quality Engineer

Pay: $35.00/hr

1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Notes: Looking for candidates that have experience working in a WAREHOUSE Environment helping with process improvement, audits, analytics, running reports, reviewing current work flows.

Job Summary:

• The focus is to ensure that quality control procedures and systems adequately evaluate an organization's processes and products.
• Determine if current methods and techniques result in meeting customer specifications and reliability standards or require modification. (More concerned with standards, methods and procedures rather than with testing devices and equipment used to check products.)
• Ability to communicate customer concerns and issues and timely resolution utilizing cross functional team members as appropriate.
• Background and/or ability to lead, mentor and supervision of Failure analysis and Quality Technicians may be required.
• Possess a basic understanding of materials and processes used in manufacturing of automotive electronics or similar technologies.
• Experience with working knowledge of SPC and problem solving tools highly desirable. Understanding and ability to work within Design of Experiment (DOE) formats.
• Familiar with minimum of ISO 9002 and preferably TS16949 requirements and Quality management Systems

Responsibilities:

• Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to our company's quality-assurance processes.
• Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to our company's authorized vendors as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Preferred Education: High School or equivalent
• Preferred Work Experience (years): 3-5 years
• Ability to learn technical information.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
