Summary
We currently have an open position for a Quality Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing product and material inspection and testing to ensure compliance with specifications. You will also use knowledge of Quality Control, production operations, and documentation to participate in process improvements and investigations, when required. As a member of the QA self-directed teams you will be responsible for taking action to support the department and company goals.
Essential Functions:
- Follows our safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Responsible for your own Success; able to plan work, identify obstacles and training needs
- Conduct product or material inspection and testing using various types of equipment including the co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM).
- Perform data entry and reporting of test results including graphing and statistical analysis.
- Locate productions documents, inspection records and quality records for review
- Conducts in process visual inspections and retrieval of parts for lab testing
- Scan finished product
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized
- Preform QC in the print dept
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and handle a minimum of 20 pounds repetitively
- Able to read and understand customer drawings and specifications
- Read, write, communicate and understand the English language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Quality Control and production documentation
- Working knowledge of operation of Quality Control evaluation devices including scales, pi-tape, calipers and gauges
- Off shift work maybe required
- Job requires some lifting, extended standing and walking will be required
- All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eye glasses, etc. where required)
- · Must be able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed.

Pay: $19.08 - $20.39 per hour
