Quality Control Manager

• Inspection, Audit, Quality Control for products, cast components, purchased components & materials, assembled items, and purchased items.
• Manage standard compliance, product listings and material qualifications and certifications- manufactured, material certifications along with source items and components.
• Manage, develop and improve QC process and staff.
• Manage QC Lab, test equipment and calibration for existing and new products.
• Provide Sales and manufacturing support regarding product listing, rating, certifications and compliance.
• Actively participate and represent company's interest in industry trade organizations such as National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA), UL Standards Technical Panels, etc.
• Conduct internal testing in support of new products, new production lines and material qualification.
• Work with operations to improve components and item yields (reduce scrap rates)
• Product quantitative data on product quality, yield rates
• Work with the Executive team, operations and cross-functionally within company to increase efficiency, optimize value and protect company's interest and reputation.
