Quality Commercial Flooring is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager/Controller to join our team. This role oversees the internal and financial operations of the company. This person will collaborate closely with the owner to ensure the day to day operations of the company are running smoothly and that all incoming and outgoing payments are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, working closely with ownership.
- Collaborate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
- Oversee light office duties including supply orders and delivery management for all personnel
- Manage employee pay election paperwork
- Oversee Payroll Hours
- Research outstanding invoices and billing contracts
- Complete prequalification forms for contractors
- Work closely with estimators to ensure all billing is going out in a timely manner and all payments are up to date
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role
- Proficient in accounting software systems such as Quantum Project Management; expert experience with Quickbooks required
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to Ownership
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of Union labor a must

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
