The Quality Control Inspector checks the quality of incoming and outgoing products for Royal Switchgear by conducting tests, monitoring production processes, validation of product to written standards and identifying non-conformances.
Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated person in a Quality Control Inspector position on Night Shift for someone with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. If you take pride in your work and have a 'can-do' attitude, we want to talk with you! This role is vital to supporting the future growth of our business.
Duties are performed overnight from 7:30pm - 6:00am.

Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards, approve of or hold product as required per inspection standards.
- Perform testing to ensure conformance.
- Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications.
- Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
- Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
- Complete required documentation/paperwork as directed for assigned position to support Royal Switchgear requirements.
- Control of non-conforming parts and products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Complete pre-employment assessments.
- Prior experience working in industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- At least one year's experience in inventory management preferred.
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance with consistent schedule adherence.
- Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector preferred.
- Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Proficient in reading engineering documentation; prints, drawings, bill of materials.
- Proficient in using inspection tools; angle gauge, tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.
- Proficient in computer Word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge about industry products and processes.
- Basic mathematical arithmetic, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
