SalarySeeking experienced Quality Control Inspector in our Hickory, NC market.
What you will do:
- Monitor on a daily basis the new build and maintenance projects to ensure they meet the Quality Control standards and specifications as detailed in the scope of work and contract with the customer.
- Perform random audit /inspections of field crews while on job site. The inspections encompass work quality, depth of installation, job site appearance and safety.
- Fill out node inspection sheets and send crews back to jobs where work is not in accordance with company quality standards.
- Perform a recheck of work to ensure standards are met.
- Complete all required weekly paperwork and file accordingly.
Must have experience with aerial and underground telecom fiber construction installation. Able to operate office based and web-based programs. Must be able to read construction prints with computer experience. Must have a valid driver license with a clean DMV report, and be able to pass a drug screening. Must be able to perform all duties and requirements associated with the position.
