- Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor:
- You will develop duties and responsibilities in support of the *** Monterrey Quality Control System.
1. Collaboration with the Quality Engineer and Quality Management.
a. Continuous communication with the positions mentioned to facilitate good understanding and flow of information for all quality inspection members.
b. Teamwork with all inspectors to follow up on a decision and/or criteria that influence the manufacturing operation, engineering testing, etc.
c. In agreement with the Quality Engineer, performs other tests to support the area.
2. Performs inspection and testing of finished products, raw materials, and for material in process.
a. These inspections and tests are governed by the QCIP, procedures and applicable tests.
b. Verify the general production documentation (DHR or Lot file).
c. Use QC measuring and test equipment in designated work area.
d. Understand and use Quality Control inspection plans, standard test procedures, Eng. drawings and other Eng. Specifications.
e. Effectively perform inspection operations and report inspection results in the SAP quality module.
f. Maintain measurement equipment in good working condition and/or identify equipment that is not.
3. Support to the areas of manufacturing, engineering, materials, and quality engineering.
a. Coordinates with the above areas to support start-up, restart-up, or other testing inspections requested by manufacturing and engineering.
b. It will keep a record of the in-process inspection batches of each machine or production line and will be responsible for requesting the necessary information for the closure of the same.
c. Inspection and measurement of parts, as well as the correct filling of the forms for product validation
d. It will give notice to the with appropriate Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel about any condition that requires his attention, as well as register any Client found and give notice of it to the areas involved.
4. Responsible for following the non-conforming material procedure when finding an out-of-specification product.
5. Participate in the 4 Disciplines of Execution
6. Participate in PPI activities
7. Participate in environmental training sessions (to which they are invited)
8. Perform their tasks and responsibilities respecting the controls for the care of the environment and the integrity of employees
9. Comply with the activities related to the insurance meter
Requirements for the position:
- - Preferably preparatory completed (desirable) and/or
- - Preferably a technical career in a related area
- - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- - Preferably 2 to 4 years as a Quality Inspector or equivalent
- - Quality and production requirements
- - Use of measuring equipment (desirable)
- - Interpretation of tolerances in drawings (desirable)
- - Knowledge of *** Monterrey products (desirable)
- - Knowledge of IS0 9001 (desirable)
