Job title: Quality Control Supervisor
Location: Sandusky, OH
Shift: 1st (6 am to 1:30 pm or 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday)
Salary: $30 to 36 an hour based on experience
Description:
The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all assurance and quality control activities within the company
Duties:
- Quality Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all assurance and quality control activities within the company.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS).
- Lead meetings to review customer score cards.
- Inspect parts.
- Read customer prints.
- Work professionally with customer quality departments.
- Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions for quality issues.
- Conduct training sessions on quality standards and procedures with employees.
- Run audits and do charting
- Other duties as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
- Continued education in quality management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with ISO 9001 QMS.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous machining experience
- Previous quality assurance experience
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures
- Ability to reach blueprints
- Excellent math skills to include decimals and fractions
