Right now we're looking for Interns in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Compliance to join us to do career defining work.
A career in (Chemistry, Biology or other Science related field) where none of us stand still.
The Quality Assurance and Quality Control department within Haleon's Oak Hill manufacturing facility is made of up scientist and engineers that are responsible for ensuring all products manufactured and tested meet regulatory industry standards. We are also responsible for the oversight of all practices within the facility to ensure compliance to the requirements set forth by the Food Drug Administration (FDA), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH). Oak Hill makes toothpaste, with popular brands such as Aquafresh, Sensodyne and Pronamel coming from our facility. You will help support day to day business as usual projects moving along.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:
Education required:
  • Pursuing a BS degree in chemistry, biology or related field
  • Have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a degree program.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization
  • Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week)
  • Commitment to 12 week internship
  • 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA

Preferred requirements:
  • Candidate with previous internship experience in pharmaceutical, consumer health, chemical, oil/gas or food industry
  • Basic understanding of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Basic knowledge of chemical unit operations or experience in a laboratory setting
  • Candidate familiar with basic statistical concepts
  • Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.

Role start date: May/June 2024 - August 2024
The hourly rate for this role starts at $17.75/hour
