Quality Assurance Associate - Brooklyn, NY
UOVO Fashion seeks a detail-oriented and dynamic Quality Assurance Associate. Based in Brooklyn, NY, this role will be responsible for managing a busy intake and delivery schedule ensuring the highest level of Quality Assurance and inventory accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with handling garments or experience in the fashion/garment care industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining all protocols for proper storage of garments
- Prepare garments for storage and delivery including but not limited steaming, folding, bagging, unpacking and boxing.
- Prepare garments for delivery according to company standards and client requests
- Maintain high level of quality controls including verification of client requests and outgoing deliveries
- Partner with the Wardrobe Management team closely on any client needs, data verification, or special requests
- Perform routine audits and other data management activities
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience handling garments or fashion/garment care industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with computer and digital asset management software, adaptable to learning new systems
- Attention to detail and a team player mentality
- Strong understanding of client service and willingness to support client needs
- Adapts to changing circumstances and client requests
- Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
