Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on Shop Floor quality investigations, Test Cell call outs and Continuous Improvement, but not limited to:
- Helping to resolve production issues related to nonconforming product.
- Failure analysis of parts-related customer escapes.
- Data collection for Quality Department related to Process related issues.
- Inspection of incoming purchased parts.
- Product and process audits.
Qualifications:
Education:
- AA/AS Degree (preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ-CQT/CMI training (preferred).
Professional Experience:
- Five years of experience in the Quality Assurance field.
- Must be self-motivated, and proficient at methodical problem solving (RCCA).
- Must be knowledgeable of manufacturing and assembly processes, familiar with GD&T and utilization of a variety of gages and specialized equipment.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are required. Technician must also exhibit interpersonal skills, strong computer skills (including the use of Microsoft Excel software).
- Must be able to identify trends and investigate root cause factors using a variety of Quality tools. A written test may be administered to demonstrate these competencies.
