What you will be doing:

• Oversees 1 to 15 associates when VAS projects and inspections are required

• Oversees Cycle Counting process and provides direction to the Cycle Count staff

• Assumes responsibility for all expired material and handling of all quality status change requests

• Reports discrepancies to Operations Manager and makes necessary adjustments once approved

• Documents all destruction orders keeping log of all materials sent out for destruction

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

• Minimum 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training in a warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with operating warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, reach truck forklift, sit down forklift and order picker

• Knowledge of safety compliance for operating equipment

• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

• Ability to write simple reports and correspondence

• Ability to develop and proof training materials.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to operate PIT

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
