Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is a senior member of the QA team, exemplifying expertise in Quality Assurance processes and Test Management. This role entails leading test cycles, validating results, and enhancing process documentation. A deep understanding of healthcare systems is highly regarded. Reporting to the QA Manager, the Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing our QA methodologies and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced Quality Assurance and control standards.
- Lead collaboration with business units for comprehensive testing of software releases.
- Refine Test Management process documentation, aligning with industry best practices.
- Spearhead activities for exhaustive testing of new products or updates.
- Analyze test results, oversee defect resolution, and elevate quality metrics.
- Identify and rectify inefficiencies in the QA process.
- Facilitate communication between QA, project management, operations, and key stakeholders.
- Provide expert leadership in vendor management and uphold superior QA standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, primarily managing testing resources.
- Expert in creating, reviewing, and ensuring the precision of critical QA documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in obtaining comprehensive stakeholder and resource approvals.
- Advanced knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their application in monitoring and improving QA project outcomes.
- Proficient with ServiceNow and adept at transitioning to or integrating new tools for project tracking.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex QA projects, with an emphasis on strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Outstanding communication skills, coupled with strong leadership qualities and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced professional certifications (Quality Engineer/Auditor, ISTQB, etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office, ServiceNow, G-Suite tools, and Clinical Applications.
- Extensive experience in Clinical Workflow management.
