As an Operations Quality Manager, you create chemistry by...
You will be an integral member of the site leadership team as you...

• Lead and develop direct reports in the Quality Operations organization with high focus on meeting customer requirements.
• Ensure close collaboration between Quality Operations and manufacturing, supply chain, sales, marketing, technology, product stewardship and logistics to deliver services needed.
• Provide leadership and key metrics to ensure that the Cincinnati Manufacturing Plant complies with corporate requirements and external standards (ISO 9001, European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients, and IATF 16949, the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Responsible Care, and ISO 14001; ensure conformance with all EHS procedural requirements.
• Manage the QC assets, including staff, equipment, budget, and infrastructure to ensure reliable and accurate testing and results.
• Continually review testing technologies methods, and processes to maintain and improve statistical quality and process control (SQC & SPC).
• Oversee site responses to customer complaints (NCMs) to facilitate root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Provide the required work environment and organizational culture expectations to lead the department with a Zero Incident Mindset. Provide proactive leadership to prevent accidents and incidents, while thoroughly investigating actual incidents to identify and correct the root cause.
• Direct and monitor all quality operations to ensure personnel compliance and reporting related to regulatory permits, corporate policies, and procedures. This includes environmental emissions, process safety, employee relations, purchasing guidelines, management of change, etc.
• Ensure all QC testing equipment is maintained for reliable and accurate testing and reporting of results.
• Define and implement process improvement initiatives to improve QC laboratory workflow efficiencies.
• Support and adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA and OSHA initiatives by protecting the environment, health, safety and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers and community.

If you...

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field coupled with demonstrated team leadership; team development experience particularly with 24/7 shift operation
• Expert knowledge of quality procedures and systems (ISO, IATF, EFfCI, RSPO).
• Experience with GMP automotive quality systems and Lean Six Sigma Systems and principles
• Knowledge of ACC Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) and the Iso 14001 Environmental Management System standard.
• Experience with SAP, GMP/EFCI and IATF 16949 quality systems is desired
