Top Required Skills
- Candidates should have government consulting experience, preferably in WA state.
- This resource understands how major IT projects are funded in WA state and have had some experience working through that process
- This Practice Lead will have Quality Assurance experience and Project Management experience. They will be running a practice that has to adhere to QA OCIO Policy 132. The expectation is that this resource knows and understands this policy.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering or leading Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) or Quality Assurance (project oversight) engagements and teams.
- Experience managing public sector competitive solicitation processes.
- Two years of experience providing oversight services to the State of Washington.

- This individual will be responsible for managing two service lines (Project Management & Quality Assurance-Oversight). In this capacity you will have responsibility for working with several employees and contractors.
- The role entails a mix of client service, practice management, business development, coaching and professional development.

Core Responsibilities:
- Managing Staff Development of 12 employees
- Managing Company Intellectual Property Development for PMO Practice (i.e., methodologies, tools, etc.)
- Managing Company Intellectual Property Development for QA Practice (i.e., methodologies, tools, etc.)
- Leading business development, evaluation of business opportunities, development of proposals, development of pricing strategies, preparations for client interviews, development of statements of work, and contract negotiations.
- Development of marketing material and other collateral.
- Lead/participate in cross-practice business development and proposal work. Conduct research and develop relationships to identify forthcoming new business opportunities. Identify teaming partners to supplement the company's delivery capabilities.
- Client service delivery in a variety of capacities including leading delivery teams, managing/guiding the work of company team members, working with client management to ensure that performance expectations are being met, providing direction and input on delivery methodologies to be employed, reviewing and providing feedback on deliverables and other collateral, leading client presentations, ensuring that company standards for quality are met, managing engagement profitability, billing and collections
- Practice management including utilization of staff, subcontract agreements, profitability of all engagements in the QA and PM portfolios, forecasting and addressing resource needs, conducting employee performance reviews, planning and leading recurring practice meetings, developing professional development programs, and review and approval of staff requests for software licenses and professional development reimbursement.
