QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Nurse will develop and implement the Quality Assurance Program, including on-going quality measurement/audits, monitoring and analysis, Performance Improvement, education, and regulatory compliance consistent with all applicable policies, procedures, standards, and relevant laws and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting regular audits and assessments of nursing practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to identify areas for improvement in patient care and implementing strategies for enhancement.
• Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall resident satisfaction and well-being.
• Analyzing data trends to identify patterns and opportunities for Performance Improvement.
• Participating in educational programs to ensure staff members are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Conducting root cause analyses and developing action plans to address identified issues promptly.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.
