Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate, conduct, coordinate, and evaluate consistent quality clinical care delivery through adopted clinical standards, policies, practices, protocols, and processes. This position also coordinates, assigns, performs, and evaluates general practices within the facility as it relates to safety, regulatory compliance, corporate standards, and more using the QAPI program as one method of monitoring.
The nature of work is defined by regulatory, legal, and/or Wildflower Court and Bartlett policies. The incumbent applies best practice guidelines for process improvement but is ultimately responsible for integrating and adapting to meet organizational standards, goals, and strategy and ensuring compliance with quality measures.The incumbent applies best practice guidelines for establishing and developing safety programs but is ultimately responsible for integrating and adapting to meet organizational standards, goals, and strategy and ensuring compliance with CDC and CMS.
This position provides process improvement and quality consultation to management in order to develop, implement, analyze, and adjust current processes in order to meet the goals set forth by the Director of Nursing, Administrator and/or Quality Director.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in epidemiology.
- Experience: Three (3) years current experience in epidemiology.
- Certifications: Infection Prevention Certification / will obtain within 6 months of employment.
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
