Pay Transparency:
The current pay range for this position is between $75,000-$80,000. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will. Overview:
This position is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for:
- Ensure robust supplier quality program
- Support new product development
- Optimize the processing of existing raw materials
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality Management:
- Creates and manages raw material specifications
- Creates and manages the supplier quality plan
- Performs defect analysis
- Acts as the supplier liaison
- Manages supplier corrective actions
- Evaluates supplier's quality management system
Material Quality Support:
- Works with operations to optimize processing
- Create internal specifications as appropriate
Team Management:
- Works collaboratively with members of the Purchasing, R&D, and Operations departments to effectively define, communicate, and resolve material and processing problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality, or related field
- SAP or similar ERP working knowledge.
- Minimum one year relevant work experience, in a manufacturing, operations, lab or quality role
- Experience with ISO 9000 systems and TQM concepts.
- Microsoft Office ® working proficiency; MS Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, inter-personal)
- Valid driver license, auto insurance and travel documents
