Job Description
Quality Assurance Coordinator for Non-Profit - Large non-profit organization seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinatorto develop and oversee the Quality Assurance Plan. You will work at their offices in West Orange, NJ.
You will earn $55,000 per year and work Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM, with some overtime in the evenings and on weekends. Plus, you will enjoy weekly pay and health benefits.
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance of the Electric Health Record (EHR) systems and inputting client service delivery documentation and notes. You will also be expected to:
- Represent the agency at New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP) meetings and events.
- Act as liaison between DDD and the organization by attending meetings, seminars, webinars, and in-service training sessions.
- Help oversee and ensure compliance with DDD and CARF Policies and Procedures and participate in DDD audits and CARF accreditations.
- Compile quality-related department reporting.
- Establish and implement metrics for monitoring system effectiveness.
- Investigate and track reports of quality-of-service complaints, prepare action plans to correct the grievances, and track the progress of the action plans to ensure improved quality of service.
- Investigate and track internal client incidents and file UIRs as required.
- Assist with training of newly hired staff during orientation/onboarding.
- Participate in company meetings.
- Document all billable services as per DDD/Medicaid via Foothold.
To qualify for the Quality Assurance Coordinator opportunity, you must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience with an I/DD Service agency. In addition, we require you to have:
- At least 3 years of experience working with the office of the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities.
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of I/DD developmental disabilities.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and prior experience using office equipment.
- The ability to work nights, weekends and special events, as needed.
- A Valid New Jersey driver's license.
- A valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Fulfilled the necessary training requirements of the organization, the College of Direct Support (CDS), and DDD and are in good standing.
