- Follows all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Performs duties in a safe manner and reports all observed safety hazards to Acts as a role model for Safety on shift. Participates in safety programs by reporting Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts and Close Calls; enters Near Miss data and observations into Global Data Center database (GDC
- Performs regular safety walk-throughs and planned housekeeping to the highest level as scheduled.
- Assists production in maintaining highest quality and production standards. Ensures a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying Traveler
- Performs pallet audits as required to assure customer specifications are
- Performs physical and analytical test such as; Elmendorf Tear, Dart Drop, Tensile Gauge Profile, Opacity, weights and measures, and Consumer specific testing. Additional testing may be required for samples from extrusion lines, trial runs and submitted request from sales.
- Inputs all test results in the designated databases. All test results must be provided in a timely
- Follows directive of Quality Lab Engineering Technician regarding trial and sample run testing
- Ensures all laboratory test equipment is in proper working order. Reports all non- functioning
- Creates and print labels using the Tharo printers and JDE as
- Strives to ensure only quality product is released from
- Reports and records all quality deficiencies, under and near minimum requirements to the Quality Manager, Shift Supervisor or Production
- May be required to conduct new hire Machine Tender/Packer
- Participates in employee driven teams to address scrap, quality, safety or other production related

Education: Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience: In addition to the educational requirements one plus years of experience in the production floor. Some knowledge of blown film or plastics is a plus.
