Quality Analyst

Eaton's ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team in Duncan, SC. The Quality Analyst will log, investigate and analyze errors reported by customer and other Eaton facilities. Identify trends and themes in errors and help to identify potential improvements to reduce errors. Document non-conforming material and issue corrective actions to the suppliers of that material. Support the Quality & OpEx Department with QIS issues, ISO Audits, and non-conforming material. This position requires interfacing with customer service, suppliers, buyers, management team and warehouse employees.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $40,875 - $59,950 a year.

What you'll do:

• Collect, store and analyze data related to internal and external errors
• Conduct analysis to identify root causes of quality issues.
• Inspect and document non-conforming material and issue corrective actions to suppliers
• Coordinate and perform internal process quality audits
• Publish reports of audit findings.
• Conduct quality orientation and training for new hires
• Create, update, maintain and train on standard work instructions
• Perform internal ISO and EQS Audits.
• Assist in writing and preparation of quality plans, procedures, and ISO requirements.
• Audit on hand inventory for non-conformities using K-review process and report findings through VISTA to the supplying plant
• Identify and report quality issues, problems and negative trends for the designated department or product based on data from a variety of sources.
• Recommend and/or implement appropriate corrective action to drive improvement
• Perform other data entry as needed

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of manufacturing/distribution experience
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Duncan, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree
• Quality Control experience preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, reach and order picker)

• Passion for quality and data analysis.
• Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Familiarity with various systems/databases (WMS and VISTA)
• Ability to learn on the job, adapt to changes and become proficient quickly.
• Willing to handle multiple projects and tasks with varying priorities.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work under little to no supervision.
• Creative and self-motivated.
