ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assures products are tested by flow cytometry to meet the highest quality standards as determined by performance specifications.
- Some technical data review and some troubleshooting
- Ensures that QC tasks are completed according to schedule, company policies, procedures and test methods.
- Participate in compliance/regulatory audits.
- Optimizes appropriate methods related to QC testing
- Follows all departmental guidelines and procedures
- Inputs data and observations into databases accurately and efficiently
- Revises documents (SOPs, batch records) as necessary
- Trains new operators on testing protocols
- Maintains ordering and inventory for QC
- Initiates and/or owns problem reports related to production issues
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+-years of relevant work experience in a biotechnology manufacturing or R&D environment
- BS in Life Sciences or a related field preferred
- Practical and development experience in general lab techniques required
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as GLP/GMP environment is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to influence others without authority
- Results oriented and data driven

- Proficient in MS office
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision is required. While performing duties of this position, employee will occasionally work with fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
