Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspection of complex molded, metal, machined parts, and electronics, and general metrology.
- Day-to-day activities include working alongside operators inspecting in-process parts.
- Conduct calibrations of inspection tools, gauges, and fixtures.
- Process and disposition product quality and inspection results on an ERP enterprise software program.
- Program and operate a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Able to interpret CMM output to qualify accuracy of dimensions and measurement results.
Core Skills Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading including geometric tolerance.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Work Experience Requirements:
- (5) years hands-on Quality Control Inspection experience.
- Experience with manual measurement tools, gauges, calipers, and micrometers, and QC equipment.
- CMM measurement and programming experience using PC-DMIS software by Willcox on a Brown and Sharpe CMM is a plus.
- IPC 610 certification is a plus.
- Experience with MS Office.
