QA Test Engineer
3 Year Contract
El Segundo, CA (onsite training for 1-2 months, then onsite every other week)
Client is seeking a motivated QA Tester proficient in both manual and automated testing for satellite STB projects. This role involves executing test cases, troubleshooting defects, and analyzing results while supporting various entities.
Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, update test cases, and analyze test results.
• Execute test cases, log defects, and triage issues across multiple mobile devices.
• Serve as a sub-lead for specific project areas or multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in test planning and activities across various devices and projects.
• Act as a point of escalation for team members, closely collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SW Manual Testing, Test Development, and Test Planning.
• Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively, and contribute to team goals.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Efficient and productive with a critical mindset focused on customer needs.
• Position starts with 1-2 months onsite training, transitioning to onsite every other week thereafter
