About the Job:
The Software QA Engineer III is responsible for API testing, Integration testing and driving API automation testing with emerging automation test trends in the industry. Looking for experienced professional who is self-motivated, quick learner, brings ideas and passion to their daily responsibilities and executes work to completion with excellence in a timely manner. This role will have opportunity to implement API automation which will help testing integration products faster for digital products and Taco Bell restaurants. The Software QA Engineer III will report to the Quality Assurance Associate Manager.
The Day-to-Day:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and identify feature and integration scope
- Collaborate with development team, project manager, product owner and cross functional team to understand the objective. create test plan, test cases and perform testing within defined timeline
- Sketching out ideas for automation test script development and identify creative solution
- Responsible for design, development, and execution of automation scripts. Monitor and troubleshoot failures in automation scripts
- Work with offshore team member and plan automation activity efficiently
- Perform API Test and related integration tests for upstream and downstream systems and contribute in-sprint testing activity
- Able to identify risk and communicate it across the cross-functional team
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Is This You?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field
- 3+ years of experience working in agile environment, experience in software testing with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience developing automation using scripting languages-Java /Python or other script languages
- 2+ years of test automation experience with API(REST) automation framework using Selenium, Appium, etc.
- Experience in test validations using AWS services such as S3/SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, or Lambda
- Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting platform such as Lumigo, data dog would be plus
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills along with good written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $90,900 - $129,360 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
