Job Description
We are seeking a QA Inspector to join a leading and growing contract manufacturer for high-quality personal care products.
Pay rate range: $20-22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of personal care products, including creams, lotions, shampoos, and other related items, to identify defects or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defect classification, quantities, and any other relevant data.
- Ensure that all personal care products comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, and work towards continuous improvement in meeting these requirements.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities.
- Communicate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities, and report to the Quality Manager.
- Ensure the inspection area and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and organized for efficient and accurate inspections.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine the cause of defects and assist in developing preventive measures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with ~1 year of experience.
- Proven experience as a QC Inspector in a GMP regulated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations in product quality.
- Good computer skills for recording and reporting inspection data.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized inspection area.
